Weaving Parties

Create Memories. Weave Stories. Celebrate Together.

Looking for a truly unique way to celebrate? A Weaving Party is more than an event—it's an experience that brings people together to create something meaningful.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, bridal shower, anniversary, retirement, family reunion, or simply gathering with friends, everyone becomes part of creating a beautiful woven piece that tells a story.

Each person adds their own touch, and together you create a keepsake filled with memories, laughter, and love.

A Celebration with Meaning

One of my favorite weaving parties celebrated a dear friend's 90th birthday. Her family gathered around the loom, each bringing special items that reminded them of her—shells collected on vacations, a beloved dog's collar, favorite shirts, ties, yarns, ribbons, and treasured keepsakes.

As each person wove their memories into the piece, they shared stories, laughed, and reflected on a lifetime of love. The finished hallway hanging became far more than artwork—it became a family heirloom.

Imagine creating something just as meaningful with the people you love.

How It Works

I bring everything needed to your home, including:

  • A professionally pre-dressed floor loom

  • All weaving tools and supplies

  • A beautiful selection of yarns and fibers

  • Personal instruction and guidance throughout the event

Guests are invited to bring meaningful items they'd like to weave into the project. These might include:

  • Favorite fabrics

  • Ribbons or lace

  • Yarn

  • Shells

  • Small keepsakes

  • Clothing with special memories

  • Natural materials

  • Anything that tells a story

Don't have something to bring? No problem! I'll have plenty of beautiful yarns and fibers available so everyone can participate.

No weaving experience is necessary. I'll guide each guest, one at a time, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone.

Perfect For

  • Birthday celebrations

  • Bridal showers

  • Baby showers

  • Anniversaries

  • Retirement parties

  • Family reunions

  • Women's gatherings

  • Team-building events

  • Celebrations of life

  • Community events

  • Creating a memorial piece for someone special

Why a Weaving Party?

Unlike traditional parties, everyone leaves knowing they helped create something lasting.

A weaving party is about slowing down, sharing stories, making connections, and creating artwork that reflects the people who made it together.

Every woven piece is completely unique because every story is unique.
