Weaving 101
Maybe you have an idea that you want to create. Maybe you love textiles and have wondered what is takes to weave. Maybe you’re trying to figure out what to do in retirement! Whatever the reason, WovenSeas is the place to learn and explore making cloth.
A Beginner’s Weaving Workshop
This is a month-long workshop; 16 hours of learning and making cloth on a 4 shaft floor loom. From design to finished cloth and all steps in between, I am here to guide you on your weaving journey. Use of all equipment plus an instructional booklet is included.
Tuition: $360 per person
Material fee: $20 (for all four weeks)
Weekday students Sign up by choosing your month. Attend Tuesdays & Thursdays for 2 hour sessions, 4 hours total per week for four consecutive weeks.
Weekend students Sign up by choosing your month. Each class will last 4 hours with the first session starting at 1:00 pm. The consecutive three Sundays start time will be 9 am.
